Hey everyone,
This week has been a
good week, we had some good time finding people and even found 6 new Spanish
families! So that was fun. Also I turned 20 yesterday, thanks everyone who sent
birthday cards and emails, I really appreciate it!
We had a great time
this week having another General Authority come and visit us. We had Elder
Costa of the Seventy come and talk to us. He is from Brazil but he knows English
and Spanish so we were talking to him at lunch in Spanish and it was way fun! He
gave us a lot of good advice that makes me excited for the work we will be able
to do with smart phones and with working with members. He stressed to us how
much the First Presidency trusts us and I thought that was really cool. It really does take a lot of trust to place a
lot of the growth of the church in the hands of 18-21 year-olds.
Also we meet with an
awesome new investigator this week named M. She is a girl from Honduras that has
lived in the states for about 4 years. She is really cool. We taught her about
the Book of Mormon and she seems like she will for sure run with it and read
it. She even told us she wanted to come to church and youth group meetings. And
her niece might come with her so it was a great time!
